Indian men’s doubles pair of Satwik SaiRaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty settled for bronze medal after losing in the semifinals of World Badminton Championships in Tokyo on Saturday.Indian duo lost to Malaysian pair of A Chia and Soh 22-20,18-21,16-21.They became only second Indian pair since 2011 to win a medal at World Championships.

Neeraj Chopra won Diamond League meet in Laussane on Friday night.Olympic champion Neeraj had best effort of 89.08m to become first Indian to win Diamond League meet.

Asian Hockey Federation CEO Mohammad Tayyab Ikram and Belgium’s Marc Coudron have filed nominations for FIH President’s post.Elections will be held on November 5.
