We are glad to share that North London cricket club has conferred it’s honorary membership upon former India cricketer who was also Asia Cup Man of Series Mr.Surender Khanna of Delhi.
Let us see a brief history of this English club.
History of NORTH LONDON CRICKET CLUB
North London Cricket Club was founded in 1877 and has been playing cricket on its beautiful grounds ever since. It has grown into one of the biggest clubs in the county, offering league and cup games throughout the season for more than 300 members – men, women and children.
NLCC has 5 senior teams playing in the Middlesex County Cricket League on a Saturday, 2 women’s league teams playing 40-and 20-over formats on Sundays, a men’s Sunday league team and an U21 team in the Middlesex Development League. We have 250 registered juniors playing in the Middlesex junior leagues and the club enters a team in the county’s U19 T20 competition and the U17 Youth Cup, offering a wealth of playing and training for young people wanting to learn and improve in the game.
Training and home games take place on our two cricket fields nestling in the picturesque conservation area of Shepherds Cot, one of the nearest cricket facilities to the City and central London.
First-time visitors are always surprised by the delightful green setting and can’t believe they are still in London
