South Africa had lost to the same opponent in this series.

It was do or die situation for them. The entire cricketing world was tracking

this match. It was played on SA soil and so they were  favourites

South Africa won the toss and elected to bat .None of the batsman stayed at the

Wicket except Jack Kallis who remained unbeaten on 98 when South Africa could manage

204. Zimbabwe started  dreaming about their victory.

But South African bowlers had different ideas .They bowled to a plan & their opponent

could hardly play to their potential. Pollock grabbed 3 important wickets at the top of the order which enabled host to win by 53 runs.
