Caroline Wozniacki began her campaign for her Australian Open title  with a comprehensive 6-3,6-2 win over Laura Siegmund in the  round one of the WTA Auckland Classic Wednesday.

The 28-year-old Dane said “she was looking forward to see Williams in the QF .
