Grandmaster and former world junior champion Abhijeet Gupta put up a fine show as he crashed through the solid defenses of compatriot Vidit Gujrathi in the fifth round of Isle of Man International Chess tournament here on Thursday. Gupta continued his good form having drawn with Boris Gelfand of Israel in the lead with 4.5 points, Gupta shares the lead with Arkadij Naiditsch of Azerbaijan, Jeffery Xiong of the United States and Wang Hao Of China.
