Everyone is applauding for his Asian Games success, but 16 year old Saurabh Choudhary is Junior World Champion in Suhl,Germany which was held later this year with Score of 583 in Qualification and 243.7 in finals and also Gold in Asian Shooting Championship in Wako city in 2017.
Started shooting in 2015, the 16 year old from Meerut, Saurabh Choudhary is keen to make an impression ahead for the preparation of 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Seasoned campaigner Sanjeev Rajput winning the silver in 50M Rifle 3Position to add teenagers Saurabh Choudhary’s sensational gold and Abhishek Verma’s (Lawyer by profession) Bronze in the Men’s 10M Air Pistol made 6 medals at Day 3 for India,thus from their Shooting Campaign at ongoing 18th Asian Games.
In December 2017, Saurabh Choudhary qualified for Youth Olympic Games which is being held in Bueno Aires in Argentina in 2018 with a Gold at 10th Asian Youth Olympic Games Qualifications.
At 17th Kumar Surendra Singh Shooting Championship in 2017, then the 15 year old Saurabh Choudhary beats 2014 Asian Games Gold medalist and Olympian Jitu Rai in 10M Air Pistol, thus making a strong candidate to compete in upcoming events and international competitions.
