India is showing its Mettle abroad and Settling down well!

Though its been almost 3 to 5years that all the senior players of the previous generation retired one after another. The new look Indian team which was made under the eyes of Kohli with 70% of new faces since 2013 is finally  looking settled.

The team looks well balanced now and this will be probably the team and the squad which will go on for atleast next 3 to 5years.

Defeating Ireland was quite an obvious thing for our powerful Indian side but the real test was definately going to be against the English team. England boys are in wonderful form. they are scoring world record totals, their batting line up has looked stronger than ever before and even theirs is a team which is really settled now for few years and completely balanced.

Also to start with there were many records being achieved in the T20 match vs England:

1 -Kuldeep Yadav, 5-24, is the first left-arm wrist-spinner to take a five-for in T20 Internationals.

1- Kohli becomes the quickest to 2000 T20I runs, getting it in 56 innings.

4- Kohli becomes the fourth batsmen to score 2000 T20I runs.

2 – This was KL Rahul’s 2nd century in T20Is. His first one had come against West Indies.

5- Five-fers by Indian bowlers in T20Is:

6/25 Y Chahal v Eng, Bengaluru, 2017

5/24 B Kumar v SA, Joburg, 2018

5/24 KULDEEP v Eng, Manchester, 2018

1- Kuldeep Yadav is the first bowler to get two batsmen stumped for ducks off successive deliveries in T20Is.

33- 33rd stumping for MS Dhoni in T20I cricket; the most by any keeper. He went past Kamran Akmal’s tally of 32 stumpings in T20Is. #ENGvIND

England batting first scored a average total of 159 in 20 overs as they got some good quality bowlers troubling them unlike the Australian attack which is going through major crisis. The way Kuldeep bowls everytime and the hunger which he has are all positive signs that he bound to become the no.1 spinner for India in the coming years and a permanent member in the team too.

While chasing, KL Rahul who is often known for his solid batting, technique and calmness with his role model also being Dravid often surprises with his other side and i.e aggression. He has this innate ability to strike the ball and play at a astounding strike rate without looking crazy or aggressive. He hits proper elegant test cricket shots even in T20’s and still manages to play at a strike rate of 200 and above which makes him a very very special opener.

Yes he is young, he has tattoos like Kohli all over his body but deep down he is a solid cricketing product just like his idol Dravid who can become a great batsman for India in the coming years if he stays focussed and calm like this.

It was a yet another win for India as they keep on solidifying their presence in International Cricket.
