Sunil Chhetri the Super Star of Indian Football

Sunil Chhetri who was born on 3rd  August 1984, is an Indian player who plays as a striker for Indian club Bengaluru FC and the Indian team.

He is  the most capped player (100 matches as on day)  

 He is also the captain of the Indian national team.

Chhetri started his professional career at club Mohun Bagan in 2002. He has spearheaded Indian win in 2007,  2009 and the 2012 Nehru Cup and also  2011 SAFF Championship.

He was also  India’s best player during the 2008 AFC Challenge Cup in which India did win the championship and thus qualified for first AFC Asian Cup. 

 India’s star striker Sunil Chhetri has also been designated as  AIFF Player of the Year not once but four times in years 2007, 2011, 2013 and 2014.

Sunil Chhetri  is making waves in current Hero cup tournament being played among 4 nations being played in Mumbai and scored hat-trick in the first match against Chinese Taipei
