Players from each team to watchout for in this year’s IPL 2018

The festive season of cricket begins where lakhs of people will throng to the stadiums and crores of people will be glued to the TV Screens. This is entertainment at its best, this is also a platform where a normal player becomes an overnight star if he manages to perform well. Not only can he make truckloads of money but he may also go on to get more opportunities as a professional cricketer abroad or make it to the National team. Hence, it was important to note out a few players who are definitely worth watching out for in the latest edition of this year’s IPL-

Dwayne Bravo & Lungi Ngidi from CSK-

While Bravo is now just enjoying cricket as he is already into his 30’s and this may be probably his last seaon of IPL or at the most a few more seasons left so he has nothing to prove. Plus the way he smashed that 30ball 68* smashing 7sixes and single handedly helping CSK win, he certainly looks in a different zone this seaon. On the other hand Lungi Ngidi is a tearaway fast bowler of Africa who troubled Indians in tests, CSK bought him for mere 50lkahs but he can surely deliver much more than what he is being paid for!

Risabh Pant & Shahbaz Nadeem from DD-

The way Pant smashses the bowlers, there is a dash of swagger and a likeable over confidence in that kid. As and when he grows up, he has all the abilities to be as destructive as Gayle and he is one entertainer to watch out for. Nadeem on the other hand is a wily bowler who can give crucial breakthroughs.

Kamlesh Nagarkotti from KKR-

Kamlesh Nagarkotti is one of the fastest bowlers in India right now. He is amongst the few elite Indians who has touched 150 while consistently bowls at 140+. He is also young, fit and super athletic and can bowl long spells without the fear of choking or getting injured. He is one such young fast bowler who is every captain’s dream to have.

Suryakumar Yadav from MI-

Suryakumar after many years has changed his base from KKR to MI. He got a chance to bat up the order and smashed a brutal 43 in the 1st match. If the way he was hitting the ball is anything to go by, he can be one player who can be a big asset for MI.

Sanju Samson from RR-

Samson must be eager to prove his talent. Till now he has not lived up to his potential and this is the right time he shows everyone he is a stuff of the legends in the making. More than that he will be eager to perform at his best to make a cut into the national side too.

Deepak Hooda & Carlos Braithwaite from SHR-

Deepak “Hurricane” Hooda as he is popularly called in the domestic and local cricketing circles is a threatening batsman who can change the game in a span of a few minutes. We have already seen his glimpses and Carlos Braithwaite is another clean and powerful hitter. If these two get going, Hyderabad team’s fortunes may change for the better!

Stoinis and KL Rahul from KXIP-

Stoinis has been one of the most rising all-rounders in International cricket. His accurate bowling and hard hitting has made him a big star while we all saw the fastest IPL fifty in mere 14balls by KL Rahul in the opening match of KXIP. These two players can give a run for the money to any teams if they manage to remain consistent and fit.

De Grandhomme & Sarfaraz from RCB-

De Grandhomme is a powerful middle order hitman while also bowls really well. He is aggressive and brutal and can hit those sixes in the slog overs while Sarfaraz who was once touted as the next gen batting mainstay for India has came back after a big injury and he will be desperate to hit back to form and score runs. To some extent he has a similar story and fate like Samson and they both will be desperate to prove to the world their capabilities.
