Dhawan Joins the elite list of ODI records, check out what was it!

In recently concluded match between India & South Africa, Dhawan scored a century. Interestingly, it was his 100th one day as well. He joined an elite group of elite Batsmen who have done this However, he is the only Indian to do so. So who are the other batsmen to have achieved this unique feat?

Gordon Greenidgecenturies in their 100th ODI

Gordon Greenidge of West Indies was the 1st to achieve this rare feat.

He did it against Pakistan at Sharjah in 1988 Despite Greenidge’s tonWest Indies lost the match by 84 runs while chasing 295.

Chris Cairns of New Zealand

He entered this club in 1999.He Scored 115 in 80 balls.New Zealand won the

contest by 70 runs

YousufYouhana — Pakistan

YousufYouhana at that time when he scored century on his 100th ODI against Sri Lanka in the final match of Cherry Blossom Sharjah Cup on April 2002. His knock helped Pakistan post a competitive total, although Sri Lanka did not stand a chance to even compete as they were bowled out for mere 78. Yousuf was rightly adjudged for Man of the Match award.

Chris Gayle

Chris Gayle not only achieved this rare milestone but also was the 1st to

remainunbeaten during this landmark and that too at Lord’s. His knock of 132 not out enabled West Indies to  chase of 286-run target against England
