England vs West Indies, 3rd Test

London, James Anderson became the first England bowler to take 500 wickets and sixth in the Test history.
England first inning was wrapped up for 194 runs in reply to West Indies first inning score of 123 runs. The main contribution for England was of crucial 60 runs of all rounder Ben Stokes. His score helped England to take the first innings lead of 71 runs. For West Indies Roach took 5/62 and skipper Jason Holder took 4/54. On a overcast day it was not easy to bat in swinging conditions. Due to rain interruption the day was called off when West Indies were 93/3 with Shay Hope was batting on 35 and Roston Chase on 3 runs. West Indies have a lead of 21 runs in 2nd inning.
HKFC Squash Championship
Joshna Chinappa on Friday defeated top seed Annie Au of Hong Kong to storm into the finals of HKFC International Squash Championship in Hong Kong. In 71 minutes clash Joshna won 11-9, 10-12, 11-3, 9-11, 11-6.
FIDE Chess World Cup
India’s five times World Champion Vishwanathan Anand crashed out of the World Cup after playing out a draw in a must win game against Anton Kovalyov. In meanwhile Grandmaster Vidit Gujrathi continued with his impressive run and defeated Le Quang Leim to enter second round.
Cadet World Wrestling Championship
India’s Somam Malik  won a Gold Medal after defeating Japan’s Sena Nagamoto in the final of Cadet World Wrestling Championship in Athens, Greece. Sonam won the match 3-1 in finals.
