Nadal Federer Move Ahead!

Both top seeds in men’s and women’s singles advanced to fourth round of US Open.Rafael Nadal recovered from slow start to beat lucky loser Leonardo Mayer 6-7,6-3,6-1,6-4 in the third round while Roger Federer defeated Feliciano Lopez 6-3,6-3,7-5 to move into third round.Both Federer and Nadal are on course for semifinal showdown. In women’s singles top seed Karolina Pliskova survived a scare as she beat Shuai Zhang 3-6,7-5,6-4. Indian Sania Mirza and Shuai Peng beat Jane Cebelkova and Magdalena Cybrikova in second round of women’s doubles.Rohan Boppanna and Gabriela Dabrowski reached second round of mixed doubles.
