England vs West Indies 2nd Test

 Leeds, Unpredictability is the beauty of cricket and the same was experienced by the packed crowd at Leeds on Tuesday.
West Indies successfully chased a stiff total of 322 runs and won the 2nd Test Match by 5 wickets.The ongoing test series is now tird 1-1.The duo who scored centuries in the first inning again scored in the 2nd inning. Brathwaite scored 95 runs while Hope scored unbeaten 118 runs becoming the only batsman to score centuries in both innings at Leeds. Hope was supported by  Blackwood and Chase who scored  41 & 30 runs respectively.
Earlier England declared their inning on 490/8, giving West Indies a potential winning total of 323 runs.
Australia vs Bangladesh 1st Test
Dhaka, Australia was back on winning track after Nathan Lyon took 6 wickets in the second inning of opening test match at Dhaka. Starting the day on overnight score of 45 /1 , Bangladesh was all out for 221 runs. Lyon took 6 wickets who was the peak of the bowlers for Australia.
While chasing a competitive total of 265 runs in 4 th inning, Australia was 53/2 at one stage but opener David Warner and skipper Smith played steadily. At stumps , Australia was 109/2 needing more 156 runs to win.
World Boxing Championship
Gaurav Biduri assured a medal for India.He defeated Bilel Mhamadi of Tunisia in Quarter Finals of 56 kg category.He is the second Indian to Win a medal in first attempt after Vikas Krishnan in this competition. Earlier in 49 kgs category , Amit Fangal lost against Olympic Medalist Hasanbai of Uzbekistan.
India vs Sri Lanka One day series
On Tuesday all selectors of Sri Lanka handed their resignation to sports minister. This came after a humiliating defeat in Test Series followed by losing all 3 one day matches. The crowd hurled abuse and threw waterbottles on the cricket ground when India required just 8 runs for victory.
