World Super Series Badminton, Glasgow
It was a sad , but a proud day for all Indians. The winner podium had two flags above the winners.
In a very tight match , Nozomi Okuhara won the finals of World Super Series of Badminton 21-19, 20-22,22-20.
It was an exiting match which was played exceedingly well by both the finals. The rallies were a treat to watch. Sindhu took the advantage of her height and Okuhara used her power in smashes. In each and every game the scores were levelled at least twice. But Sindhu took the pressure on her while playing which caused many errors which could had been avoided.
But overall a proud moment for India as there were 2 out of 4 Indians on podium while receiving the winning medals. It is also first time that India has won 2 medals in the Super Series Badminton.
