Real Madrid is one of the richest club in world football. They are often known to sign big superstars from all around the globe. From Zinedine Zidane to Luis Figo, Fabio Cannavaro, Ricardo Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo, and many more big names have played for Real Madrid. Florentino Perez the current president of Real Madrid is famously known to make such big money transfers. Recently Madrid won record breaking UCL title along with La Liga.
Madrid’s recent success is largely due to their changed transfer policy. Since Zinedine Zidane took over as a manager in January 2016, Los Blancos have won five trophies. Zidane showed faith in his team, and instead of signing big name players he went for young talents in transfer market. They brought back their former players Alvaro Morata from Juventus, and Casemiro from porto. Then Marco Asensio was bought from Mallorca. All these young players contributed largely to Madrid’s success. They have continued their youth policy in current transfer window also by signing Jesus Vallejo and Theo Hernandez, and are reportedly interested in Betis youngster Dani Ceballos.
Change in transfer policy has helped Real Madrid immensely. With players like Sergio Ramos, Ronaldo, Benzema and Marcelo been at club for many years, core of the team is strong, and with youth players coming in future of Real Madrid is also secured.
