INDIAN WOMEN IN ICC WORLD CUP FINALS!

Harmanpreet Kaur scored a fabulous 171* off just 115 balls to put India in strong position against Australia in the semifinal of ICC Women’s World Cup in England. This was her 3rd ODI century. It was fifth highest individual score in women’s cricket. It was second highest ODI score as an Indian after Deepti Sharma. Her swashbuckling knock included 20 fours and 7 huge sixes. Harmanpreet came in to bat at a time when India was struggling at 35/2 in 9.2 overs. However she single handedly put India towards big total with her aggressive batting.During group stages she had not made a significant contribution with bat.Now when India needed it most she delivered with her brilliant knock. This was one of the best one day innings by an Indian bats woman.
India defeated Australia by 36 runs to clinch a berth in ICC women’s world cup final to be held at Lords on 23rd July. Come on girls !!! All the best.
