B Sai Praneeth won Singapore Open Super series title by beating compatriot Kidambi Srikanth 17-21,21-17,21-12 in the final.This is his first Super series title and with it he continues his dominance
over Srikanth as he now has 5-1 head to head record against Srikanth. Praneeth had been struggling with shoulder injury before the event.However he defeated many higher ranked players en route to his title triumph showing his determination and fighting spirit.This win will improve his world ranking.India now has another male champion in badminton.
